We had a great Easter, it was extra fun seeing the happiness in our childs eyes and the wonder of the Easter Bunny. We attended mass on Easter Eve, arrived about 7pm for a 7:30 start, they really were well behaved considering that we left after 2hrs and 40 min into it, at that point communion was not even started. I do feel gulity...but we were pushing out luck staying any longer. We left right after the 4th baptism. I think we are forgiven.

I think you are forgiven. I can't wait to see one more in your family! You do have a beautiful family! COME ON REFERRALS! This baby needs a home!!
I'll put in a good word for you but...in my book, all is well!!
:o)
Your little ones are just too cute. I hope we do get some referrals soon.
Adorable family photo. Andrew and I can't wait for our children to have one of them taken. :)
I read a bunch of your blogs and I want to say a bunch all at once, so here goes:
1) I hear about the difficulty and the "unknowns" in the wait for a Vietnam adoption. I sincerely hope that you get your referral prior to any deadlines and that there are no more problems on this journey. It's emotional enough without having all of the "what if"s hanging over your head.
2)We have a Britax car seat that holds a baby up to 60/65 lbs?! I need to re-read the box. It's the "crocodile" print. We're awaiting the referral before we buy a second one as we don't know how old our oldest will be.
3) I agree with the naming! Right now we're dealing with names...
we're requesting an infant girl. Her name will be Adia Irene (Ethiopian name) OurLastName.
Irene is my grandmother's first name and my middle name.
If our oldest is a boy his name will be Amado James (Ethiopian name) OurLastName. Amado is my grandfather (the person I was named after) and James is my hubby's middle name as well as his dad's first name.
If our oldest is a girl, we're still trying to figure out names-but we're thinking of going with Elizabeth as a middle name because that's my hubby's mom's first name.
I'm glad I found someone that feels similarly to the way I do about naming them "into" the family. :)
and
4) We purchased a van the month we started this adoption process (nearly 13 months ago). My hubby was "forced" to drive it because his work is much closer than mine-to save on gas-and, now he won't part with it. Hysterical.
We also purchased a "keiki on board" sign for when we have our kids. In Hawaii, "keiki"=child/children.
Haha!
nice to "meet" you! And, thanks for your comment on my stay at home mom/working mom post! :) :)
